Door Finishes
There is a plethora of door finishes and colours for Industrial Doors. Here we look at some of them.
All Industrial Doors come with either a standard galvanised finish or, in the case of personnel doors, a grey prime finish.
Galvanised Finish
Here we see a galvanised roller shutter with a prime-finished personnel door. Both are the most cost-effective options and are very popular with our customers.
Powder Coated Finish
Powder Coating door finishes come in a vast range of colours. To see the whole colour range click here.
Wrapped Finish
Wrapped finishes are ideal if you want a steel door with a wooden effect finish.
Plastisol Finish
Plastisol finishes are generally used on Sectional Overhead Doors. Usually, the inner face is standard white, with the external side in colour.
Which Should You Choose?
The finish you choose is purely down to individual preference. However, we should point out that, generally speaking, Sectional Overhead Doors always have a plastisol finish. Many of our business customers like to go with their corporate colours. In addition, with speed doors, some customers like to have their company logo added.
We should also add that when opting for a brick bond or perforated curtain, a powder-coated finish is advised to help reduce the sharpness of the cut-out edges (see the internal green powder-coated example above).
