This customer required industrial garage doors but could not find anyone to help him. Then, he discovered Lotinga.
The building is an old pole barn. As the name suggests, the barn is constructed from round poles. The problem other industrial door companies could not overcome was how to fit a square roller shutter onto round poles.
At Lotinga, we are used to thinking outside the box. Our expertise is in devising bespoke solutions to overcome unusual problems. Our solution was fabricating a 100mm box frame and bolting it to the poles.
Steel Personnel Door
The roller shutter door operates via a 240v tube motor with a rocker switch control.
In addition, there is a steel personnel door. This door allows personnel to enter the garage without raising the shutter door. Both garage doors provide excellent security protection and have a dark green powder-coated finish.
Finally, a panel fills in the gap above the personnel door. This panel is made from shutter laths to match the shutter door.
