Self Supporting Shutter
This customer had some old sliding doors which were past their prime. The steelwork around the opening was insufficient to fix to. Therefore, we fabricated a 100mm box frame to house a self-supporting shutter.
Sliders can be heavy and hard to open and close. Plus, these no longer looked very attractive.
In addition, for ease of access, we added an emergency exit door with a false panel above. The emergency exit had an internal push pad, with an external locking handle.
To finish, the doors and panels were powder coated in Vandyke Brown.
Being steel fabricators allows us to be more versatile than some of our competitors.
All in all, these doors provide a more attractive face to the building. Plus, the opening is now more secure and easier to use for the customer.
We can also offer high-security shutters for additional peace of mind. Visit our High-Security Page to find out more.
